Well it sure has been a while since I have written in this blog!
Coincidentally it’s also been exactly that long since I was in Japan too, but now I’m back!
This time round we have come to the land of the rising sun in summer and damn is it warm.
It’s taken about 15 hours to get here from Wellington and in that time the temperature has jumped about 25°c and got very humid.
Not that I am complaining at all!
Naoko has already been here for a couple of weeks and been busy making travel itineraries for the rest of our stay and it looks like it is going to be a great trip. So far so good as she surprised me by meeting at the airport in Narita! Very nice surprise. Now we are on the train back to her family home in Shounandai for the night and then the great Kansai adventure will begin!
I’m going to try and make regular posts and even throw some photos in for good measure when I can figure out how to upload photos from the flash card then into my Samsung tab. We shall see. Worst comes to worst I’ll be sure to grab some snaps with my phone and upload them to here or Facebook.
It’s getting dark out the window so I’m going to spend more time watching the scenery before it’s totally night out.
