俳句

The following haiku have been written following the 5/7/5 rules and  contain reference to a season. I understand there are a lot more rules and guidelines but I don’t know them yet. Feel free to tell me about it if you know any of them that these are breaking!

The snake sleeps
The water becomes ice
The maple leaves burn

Sakura blooms
Laughing with friends
Totally carefree

Below is the first version of this second haiku, I was later told that although technically it translates almost the same, there are several dodgy euphemisms so I’ve kept it for entertaining those that can understand it without the English meanings.

and last but not least

Endless sky
Shinning sea
Crowded beach…

Hope you enjoyed and could see the pictures these words painted in my mind!
